I find these two contradicting wishes very interesting. Let me quote my parents:
Mom: "Semoga cepat dapat jodoh, cepat kawin..." (May you find the one soon, may you get married faster...)
Dad: "Maju terus pantang mundur. Semoga jadi CEO..." (Keep going, don't give up...may you become CEO...) My dad has always been very proud of my work achievements!
I think I should be born a guy, and life won't be as complicated :)
